Pattern-making methods
Three ways to arrive at the right pattern
Each piece calls for a specific technique. The choice depends on the garment type, the fabric, the complexity of the fit and your geographic distance. We discuss this in the brief — or you can choose beforehand.
Flat pattern-making
The traditional method — the pattern is drawn on paper from your measurements, with proven geometric calculations.

Moulage (draping)
Pattern-making done in three dimensions directly on the body or mannequin. Every drape, pleat and volume is built by hand, observing the actual behaviour of the fabric.

3D modelling with photogrammetry
The most recent technique — photos of your body are processed in photogrammetry software to generate a 3D digital model. From that, the pattern is built with millimetre precision. Performed in person, with dedicated equipment.

In-home service (optional)
Pattern-making at your address, with full transparency
Any of the three methods — flat pattern-making, moulage or 3D photogrammetry — can be performed at your home upon request. We bring the instruments, the photogrammetry equipment and the technical time required.
In-home service carries an additional cost for: (1) travel, calculated from the atelier in Chapecó to the service address; and (2) additional technical time, depending on travel time and the complexity of the piece.
All values are presented in the written quote before any scheduling and form part of the signed contract, in compliance with Brazilian consumer law (Lei 8.078/90, art. 6º, III, and art. 31). You may accept, decline or request revision before signing.
How we charge
Exact price is closed after the brief
Prices vary by fabric, pattern complexity and timeline. After the first conversation, we send a detailed quote — always in writing, with validity period and contract attached.
We charge 50% on contract signature and 50% on final delivery. We accept Pix, credit card (up to 6 interest-free instalments in Brazil), and international card via Stripe.
